CAUTION: When you buy from eBay or from a 3rd party, you must be careful and not get a counterfeit because all the counterfeit parts have metric threading. All Kahler parts have standard USA threads and sizes. They won't fit. The Japanese counterfeit models that were down right rip offs of Gary Kahlers CAM and roller system design which was the hot new technology of the 80's. The Takeucci company blatantly disregarded any patent rights which Kahler held on the CAM and roller system and copied the technology for itself. All Kahler systems say "Kahler" on them. You can recognize a Takeucci model because there is a large brass block that the springs attach to, up under the front of the mounting plate as shown in picture #2 and #4. The first picture of the second row shows the flat mount model minus its Kahler logo and the CAM has only 4 holes on top (notice the longer side shoulders?) And the forth picture is a model that was produced with the patent number but no Kahler logo. These pictures are from eBay. The latest copies are sold under the name: Hosco "Licensed by Kahler" and is manufactured in Russia. These are sold on Reverb and they have been banned many times but always return. Kahler USA parts do not fit metric systems from overseas.
